Need A Map To Our Site? Read This!

Posted by Brandon Harshe on December 28, 2007

I need a mapIf you’re new to our site, that’s okay. You have to start somewhere, but we want to keep you from getting lost.

The best place to start is on the homepage. This is where you’ll find the most up-to-date articles that January and I post.

Next, I would advise you to check out January’s Journey. This is where January chronicles her journey of weight loss, including posts on thoughts, emotions, and exercising.

After that, go to the topic Keeping Track. Here is where January keeps track of her progress during her journey.

Then, go check out Brandon’s Bulletin. That’s where I write things that I think are important and pertinent to the subject of health and weight loss.

The last section I would really urge you to look at is Positive Thinking. Here, you’ll find articles that we write to help inspire you to do better in your own journey.

Also, you might want to check out the other topics, like VBAC if you want to read about January’s birth stories, Reading Food Labels, Recipes, and Poisons. As time passes, we’ll have more and more for you in these subjects as well.

Enjoy!

Modesty

There is nothing modest about this post! Here are pictures of where I am measuring. This is to give you an idea of how to do it yourself. Let’s start with the in your face, all out fatty pics. Here’s my waist measurement. Your waist is not at your belly button, but where your torso indents, like here:

It may seem odd to do a neck measurement, but your neck really does shrink when you lose weight! You’ll see.

I didn’t want to lift my pants for this pic b/c I didn’t want all of you to see my lumpy thighs, but Brandon insisted. Thanks a lot sweetheart!

You were hoping my pants would be off for this one, weren’t you? Sorry to disappoint!

Here are my actual "before" measurements and more "before" photos.

To tell you the truth, I can not believe I am posting this. Awful. I just tell myself that it’ll be awesome when I can put them next to the pics of my new hot body!

The stretch marks are a bonus, and I think the Huggies in the background add a nice touch, don’t you?
